Achieving Your Goals Can Be Overwhelming.
Trust Me, I Know Exactly Where You're At Right Now.
Growing up, I loved food. I'm hispanic, so food and cooking was automatically built into my lifestyle. I also grew up in the height of social media, so I was constantly consuming media that showed all of these "perfect" bodies. I wasn't obese by any means, but I was in someways unhappy with my body, and in order to change that, I knew I had to put in some work. I was about sixteen when I joined the local Lucielle Roberts gym, my first experience in an all women's gym. I was young and insecure, suffering from crazy body dysmorphia, surrounded by women of all shapes and sizes, most of them way ahead of me in their fitness journeys.

I started out mainly doing cardio. I then switched over to emulating the routines of the women I admired. There was no real planning or coordination. I was active, yes; dance classes, going on walks, joining group classes, even taking part in musicals to boost my physical activity. After becoming more comfortable within the fitness scene, I began to form connections and get my first taste at what community can do for your personal fitness journey. That's when I began to really pick up some better fitness habits, as well as learn a lot more about how nutrition plays a huge part in you reaching your goals. That's when my fitness journey really began.
What My Journey Really Looked Like
It's Just A Hobby
Taking Those First Steps Towards A Happier, Healthier Life
Once I actualized my goals, and worked with my first trainer, I fell deeply in love with fitness as a whole. I loved the aftermath of the workouts, the soreness, the stiffness, it was the consistent reminder that I was on my way to achieving my goals. It also showed me each time that I showed up for my next session, that I may have been broken, but I was still able. I continued to dive into the fitness world and start putting down minor roots within the community. At that time I was about to graduate high school and had no intention of stepping into the fitness world as a career. I had other ideas of what I wanted to do in my life, and working out was just a part of my routine, an investment that would pay off for the rest of my life.
Can I Do This For Real?
Taking My First Leap of Faith to Actualize My New Dream

After high school, I went straight to college. I was good in school, but I was completely burnt out and uninspired by the major that I had chosen. The only thing that I did look forward to was cooking my meals, and putting my body through the ringer on a weekly basis. My body was getting right, I felt good, and people were noticing. I started getting inquiries on what I was doing to change my body and if I could help them reach their goals as well. It had never dawned on me that, training people was an option. I didn't feel like I was in a position to step into that role, but it did have a nice ring to it. I started asking around within the community and found that a lot of the trainers had gone to school for what they were doing, or had taken the course for their certification, and were doing this full time as their career. After that first daunting year of school passed by, I decided to take a gap year from school, just so I could focus on what I really wanted. I knew that I wanted to help people live a healthier life, but the major I chose was not hitting for me. During that year I took my first leap of faith and took my courses to receive my accredited NASM Certifications.
Fitness Packzz Was Born
Finding My Purpose and Creating My Brand Centered Around Empowering Women
Once I had my certification, business wasn't booming or anything. I still had to get more hands on experience, and further my studies to add to what I had learned during my certification course. I then went back to school to get my degree in Exercise Science. Here I learned more about the way the body functions on a medical level, how to help people, particularly women, in achieving their health and fitness goals. After graduating, I started the process of building up my portfolio of clients by working with some close friends and family members and documenting their process. Not only was I walking them through workouts, I was helping them heavily with changing their diet to match their health goals. I was stepping into their lives and creating an environment where I gave them advice, listened to their goals, and held them accountable throughout the entire process. I was posting on social media and that's how I started to gain more traction and start to pick up more solo clients little by little. Life seemed to just boom from there. I was going to school, working with clients in between, finding time for my own workouts and up keeping my own lifestyle goals, as well as building my own little community of women who were striving for a healthier life.
